事前準備與心情
我這次明確地知道自己要去 Valencia 學西文（因為巴塞隆納及馬德里已經旅遊過了，且大城市有比較多的觀光客及喧囂，聽從西遊推薦選擇第三大城且極具文化及自然景色的瓦倫西亞），而且因為本身學西文時間較久，直接選擇 C1 班進修，主要目的為練習口說把過去所學的都應用出來。這次是透過西遊專員兼朋友 Javier 的介紹及安排，很快地就決定了學校。
西遊機構經驗豐富在去之前就已經把常見問題整理在行前手冊中，並於出國前向我做了簡報提醒一些該注意的事項。透過行前手冊的介紹雖人生地不熟，我出國前就已經了解了瓦倫西亞的氣候、城市概況、學校課程及環境、寄宿家庭情況等等，算是吃了個定心丸。令我訝異的是，連機場接地鐵的動線都以照片方式一步一步清楚寫在指南中，省掉我很多迷路的時間。

學業篇 — 上課情形、學習成效等等
學校環境優美，地點位於市中心地鐵旁非常方便。一進校門就可以看到漂亮的花園（種植瓦倫西亞代表物—橘子樹、有噴水池及明亮的採光）。瓦倫西亞氣候良好幾乎全年不下雨，冬天也不下雪氣溫算是西班牙屬一屬二溫暖的城市。學校旁就是市中心，各種餐廳及商店、書局、超市、電信行等等應有盡有，生活機能極佳。
萬里無雲的藍天配上橘子樹讓每天進入校園時就能有一顆明亮的心。教室本身也是小而美，空調舒適配上窗外藍天讓人學習欲望大增。上課非常重視互動，不管是針對一個主題進行個別討論，或是分隊辯論都能激盪出非常多不同的意見（歐美學生非常喜歡表達意見，也很愛辯論）。透過辯論及表達意見可以練習不同單字及文型，再透過老師補充及修正很快就可以針對該主題侃侃而談。
我才上了一週課就從一開始的害羞不敢講，到後來搶著發言（因為實在太有趣了，我的想法都跟大家不一樣XDD，大家也被我逗得很樂）。我覺得最棒的一點就是，除了課堂上全西文之外，下課或放學後跟同學也是用西文溝通，真的讓講西文變成一件很理所當然的事。

如同上方這張照片，學校備有休息空間，不管是拿來自習或是小睡片刻都可以。密集課一天最高可以上到六小時，對體力來說是一個很大負擔。但為了消化當天學過的內容，我都會留在學校到晚上，自己拿西文雜誌看訓練閱讀，或是寫寫作文給老師改。這些都是會進步更快的基本功。

老師也會準備非常多種類的遊戲，例如右上方這個是西文大富翁，依照骰子數字前進之後，要回答西文問題完成任務才能繼續前進（例如用西文解釋文法、講出複雜單字的定義、或是使用特定文型造句等等）；也有老師自製的角色扮演遊戲，抽到情境的同學要依照情境對話（抱怨、諮商給建議、做評論等等）。每天上課一開始老師會問大家昨天做了什麼，我每天走路上學的 20 分鐘中也都在思考怎麼用西文回顧我的一天，這不但對於西文的練習很好，也會加強說故事的能力或是邏輯能力：比如說有一天我不舒服坐博愛座卻被一群老人要求讓座產生了口角，我就把整段過程完整敘述出來（會用到過去虛擬式、半過去式、一般過去式等等），講完我就覺得心情好很多（成功討拍XD），事後我又把口述的部分寫成作文讓老師批改（練習作文也是很重要）。下圖是針對特定論述進行意見陳述的練習。

課外篇 — 課餘活動、旅遊等等
學校每週都會舉辦非常多的活動，幾乎是一下課就有活動。比如說下面這張照片中有城市導覽、學習烹調西班牙燉飯、學 Zumba 舞、語言交換…等等。當然這些活動都是用西文進行（比如說第一天我就參加了城市導覽，老師帶著我走完了古城區及新城區，全程西文講解讓我不但練了很多聽力，也跟老師談笑風生度過了一個愉快的下午）。

透過活動也可以認識很多不同國家的同學(其他不同班或不同級數的同學)。其中我覺得蠻有趣的是看電影，因為我從來沒有看過西文的電影，所以說真的要馬上完全聽懂是不可能的，但可以慢慢深入當地的活動著實對我的在地化幫助很大。
另外，週末都會有小旅遊（近郊甚至到兩三小時遠的城市），不但可以用低價進行觀光，透過在地人的導覽更深入理解不同區域的在地文化。

去的地方實在蠻多的，其實可以根據自己需要跟不同的團。除了學校安排的旅行之外，也可以自己買便宜機票去其他國家或小島，右上圖是我自己前去加納利亞島的 Tenerife 時所拍的。自行旅遊可以認識更多西班牙朋友，我在這裡就認識兩位。

日常生活篇 — 生活環境、住宿、交通、飲食、健康檢查、就醫等等
學校有不同方案可以選擇，例如可以住公寓、學校宿舍、或是寄宿家庭。寄宿家庭也可以選擇半食宿或全食宿，我這次就是住寄宿家庭然後選擇半食宿（這樣我中餐可以跟同學一起吃），需要額外付費但相較外面餐廳吃飯節省不少，而且可以吃到當地的家常菜。我的房間像是下面這張照片這樣乾淨整齊，Home 媽會定期來打掃整理摺衣服（我衣服都亂丟 Home 媽都會忍不住幫我摺好人超好的），另外洗衣服也是寄宿家庭會提供的服務（大約一週一次）。

交通其實非常方便，地鐵站密佈公車站也很多。我為了省錢及健康（那邊飲食較多澱粉及油脂容易胖XD）短距離都選擇走路，但也可以申辦腳踏車 ValenBici，跟我們的 Ubike 差不多。長距離的移動就有 Renfe 高鐵，Valencia 位置離很多都市都很近，去 Madrid 只要兩小時，去 Barcelona 大約四小時可以到，事前訂票可以節省很多。

遊學期間去了附近小島之後直接趕回來上課，可能因為在島內火山上著涼加上積勞成疾，當天晚上發高燒，吃了 Home 媽的藥之後還是沒有改善（不斷發燒 + 喉嚨痛沒聲音），去附近藥局買了感冒藥及喉嚨噴劑居然就好了。雖然我自己有帶藥去但歐洲冬天容易有流感，病毒還蠻強的，如果沒有保險怕醫藥費貴的話，其實藥局真的是好朋友。

費用的話除了學費之外，生活費其實我並沒有花太多。因為寄宿家庭有提供半食宿，加上學校附近吃中餐都可以選擇 menú del día（每日特餐）大概一餐 10 歐可以解決（晚餐大概 20 歐以內）。像我自己比較省常常都是直接吃 Home 媽給的麵包跟學校辦活動給的點心，甚至連 1 歐都沒花就等回家吃晚餐。交通費可以考慮買 bono（地鐵 10 次套票，平均一次大概一歐多）會省非常多。我花比較多的部分大概是出國玩（聖誕節去英國，也會去附近城市或是鄰近小島），但廉價機票到處有，常常一趟 20~30 歐就可以買到。

文化交流篇 — 與當地及其他外國學生或民眾之文化交流經驗
我除了在學校參加許多活動之外（包含前述的每日活動及周末小旅遊），也參加一些當地的活動，像是國際演講協會（Toastmasters）相關的活動。在那邊我用西文做了兩次公開演講，很緊張但對我來說經驗值真的上升超多的（演講其實對語言能力提升還蠻有效的）。

結語 — 個人成長、收穫、價值觀改變等
這次的遊學打破了我一個觀念。我一直覺得一定要在一個地方待一年以上才有可能在語言上有長足的進步，但事實上這次只花了兩三個月就讓我實際感受到密集學習的威力。其實密集班因為天天上課，讓我自然而然可以將語言融入生活中，養成用西文思考、西文表達的習慣。所以我覺得就算是工作或學業忙碌，還是可以空出兩三個月密集投入時間，這效果會遠勝一週去補習班一次去好幾年。另外，歐洲的語言教育重視表達而不是鑽研文法，老師上課教完文法會盡可能讓同學用出來，而不是做一大堆文法的習題，這樣利用聲音利用情境的練習對於語言的習得（acquisition）是相當重要的。
當然在當地認識新朋友，體驗新文化也是很重要。參加學校的活動，自己到處走走看看著實讓我視野大開，也更有行動力可以隨時說走就走，過程中拜訪許久不見的朋友也是一大樂趣。有時候離開自己熟悉的地方，在異地生活常常會帶來新的靈感，對人生的規畫可能也有正面影響。我覺得這次遊學最大的收穫就是語言及世界觀，體會不同文化圈的人到底對於同一件事情看法如何不同，對人生又是如何看待。我想我還是會再回去讀書，一方面再加強西文之外，也把這次來不及看的地方探訪一下。
