故事還沒結束，有個渣男老公就算了，結果，胡安娜的老爸也就是費爾南多二世也公然地與女兒作對。

伊莎貝爾女王去世後，爭奪皇位的鬥爭很快進入到白熱化，鬥爭雙方就是胡安娜的爹和胡安娜的老公，簡單說就是老丈人和女婿爭奪王位，二位的階級鬥爭還差一點引發了西班牙內戰。好在，在最關鍵的時刻，費利佩一世死了，胡安娜面對這個突如其來的打擊，精神完全崩塌，費利佩一世已經在布爾戈斯的修道院下葬了，胡安娜還因為思夫心切，居然命人開棺然後自己抱著丈夫的屍體哭泣。為了不讓胡安娜攪局，費爾南多二世居然狠心地把親閨女扔到了托爾德西利亞斯的修道院裡，與其說是讓她過隱居的生活，倒不如說是將她軟禁，而她爹則宣布與其閨女擁有共治權。

後來費爾南多二世也駕崩了，本來就應該是胡安娜順利繼承女王的寶座，可惜，她的兒子卡洛斯一世（也就是神聖羅馬帝國皇帝查理五世）搶去了寶座也宣布和他媽媽擁有共治權，然後繼續把胡安娜囚禁在修道院裡。據說，這個可憐的「瘋女」在托爾德西利亞斯被囚禁了 55 年，直到死去，最終她與父母以及丈夫葬在了一起 — 格拉納達的皇家禮拜堂。
